Thanks for the suggestions! I know my lab doesn't mean any harm, but as soon as I try to introduce and pull the puppy away to protect, he goes wild! I love the idea of having them meet outside the home.....

We adopted a rescued golden retriever, and there are some days where he will just pace all morning and will never settle down. I had heard using chamomile, but I am not sure if that is safe, and if so can anyone recommend how to prepare a chamomile treat that would be great. I know that zen treats have one with chamomile in it (I think its called peace), but I was not sure if these are good treats. Also, if anyone has any other recommendations for relieving nerves of a golden retriever that would be great. Thanks

I have a 5 year old Female Yellow Lab and I love her to death she is a great dog ! she is very healthy , gets regular exercise and I feed her all natural Holistic food that has no kinds of preservatives at all , I know Death is just part of life but I will truly be saddened when that time comes , so if she stays perfectly healthy how many more Happy Years will I have to enjoy her companionship?

She likes big dogs, and so do I but she wants a more "family" type dog like a retriever. I want an incredibly smart dog who will be very protective of our family (even though we won't have kids for a few years).

he is 9 months old and 57 pounds. I (attempt) to run him 3 miles a day, sometimes he wants to stop early sometimes he runs most of the way. Also my dad walks him a mile before he goes to work everyday.
he is a healthy puppy but sometimes wants to stop and sit for a bit in the middle of a run.

I have a year old male black lab. I have been giving him raw hide bones to chew.
