My 4 1/2 month old german shepherd puppy is teething, and he was chewing on a rawhide bone. I noticed some blood which isn't unusual, but i took a look at which tooth he was loosing and it was his canine tooth. It was lying flat against the roof of his mouth. Do i try to remove it myself, or wait until thurs. ( his next vet visit) and let them look at if if he doesn't swallow it? I am unsure of letting him swallow it with it being a canine tooth. Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions! I know my lab doesn't mean any harm, but as soon as I try to introduce and pull the puppy away to protect, he goes wild! I love the idea of having them meet outside the home.....

he is 9 months old and 57 pounds. I (attempt) to run him 3 miles a day, sometimes he wants to stop early sometimes he runs most of the way. Also my dad walks him a mile before he goes to work everyday.

I have a one year old golden retriever, she was on Nutro's Natural chooice for large puppy before. After I read all the reviews, it seems like that blue wilderness is a better quality food with no grain and by products. However, it only comes in one formula.
