Thanks for the suggestions! I know my lab doesn't mean any harm, but as soon as I try to introduce and pull the puppy away to protect, he goes wild! I love the idea of having them meet outside the home.....

I have been waiting to get a beagle puppy for a while, and my parents said that I could, but I think that they have changed their mind about it, not sure though, and now they want to get a chihuahua. How can I convince them to let me get a beagle?

well im getting a chihuahua and the lady said it would weight about 3lbs full grown. i know it is pushing the unhealthy limmit and i dont want it to be fat so how can i make sure she is a healthy 3lb chi? i dont mind her being so light. i want a healthy not heavy chihuahua. so is that possible? no I HATE CHIHUAHUAS GET A DIFFERENT DOG answers please. its what i want and you cant change that.

i dont mind her being 3lbs and i know all the facts on chihuahuas i was just wondering waht should i do to keep her healthy? im not feeding her 3 times a day im just lettting her free feed for whenever she is hungry and give her a bit of wet food for dinner. thanks

she said the size will be 3lbs full grown because that is what she has produced in the past. she is giving me a deal. she is registering it for me for free because its so small and she usually doesn't breed that dog. thanks

I recently adopted a 14 month old german short haired pointer, he is by far the best dog I have ever owned. But there is one problem! I also own a Chihuahua he is the alpha dog of the house and I know my GSP is a hunting dog and so far when they have met they get along, but there was one incident! Yesterday the GSP chased the Chihuahua and threw a BITE! at him! The bite didn't land but I was VERY scared! do you guys have any help to help them get along? any similar stories? or will the taco bell dog be dinner some night? This dog is very mellow and i see he is capable of being chill with the smaller one but can anyone help?!

I have 2 chihuahua puppies, a boy and a girl we got in october, and somethings wrong with the boy. We've brought him to the vet, and he just told us to give him Benydryl. It doesn't seem to work besides knocking the poor guy out. He makes this.. strange.. choking noise? And he breathes in really hard and makes a strange noise. I feel so bad, he gets so scared when it happens. Any ideas?
