There is a good chance that your girl will not survive the birth. I do not understand why your vet allowed this pregnancy to continue – it is a highly dangerous situation for your girl to be in. Get her to the vets immediately and ask them to do an emergency c-section or spay. The reason you will find little information on this crossbreed is that no caring owner would have allowed this pregnancy to continue. Mistakes happen, but now you need to be a responsible owner and take measures to ensure your girl survives – and that means sectioning or spaying her now, even though the pups will be lost.

there is a high chance that the pups will get stuck in the birth canal. if this happens and you do not know the signs it will kill her and the pups. call your vet and make arrangements for a C section

Have you had her checked by your vet?
If she was bred by this dog then you should have her x-rayed or have an ultrasound done to see what size and number of puppies she is going to have. If the puppies are larger than her pelvic area they could get stuck and cause problems for both mom and pup. If she has not been to the vet get her there so they can let you know if she can have them on her own or will need a c-section

Hello!
Wow – you’re kind of in a bind. Stafforshire’s look a lot like Spuds McKenzie (are you old enough to remember him?). They do have the characteristic big dog head.
Take your Yorkie to a local vet. Ask for an ultrasound (if your vet does these). She can estimate the size of the puppies’ heads. This is the real risk-area. A big-headed pup can get stuck in the birth canal and put both your female and the other pups at risk – up to and including death. This isn’t just a problem with small breeds – it can happen anytime the pups have large heads. It happened to my friend’s labrador. Very sad.
Have the vet ultrasound your Yorkie. If she thinks it’s necessary, she’ll either terminate the pregnancy, or at least ask you to bring her in for a C-Section when she begins labor. Either way – please seek the help of a vet. They always know best in a situation like this.

you will have to get a ceasarian for sure…
really you should have aborted the litter if you cared at all about the mom…
talk to a vet immediately

there is no reason for intentionally breeding mutts, especially if its a threat to mom dogs life

a staffordshire bull terrier is quite a bit bigger than most yorkies I’ve ever seen so I think you should be concerned about your female yorky delivering these large puppies! I would definately talk to a vet before your dog goes into labor and possibly dies trying to deliver these “too large” puppies. I think your vet would want to be present when she delivers these puppies. Don’t risk it. Call your vet!! You should be able to find the “staffy” breed on any AKC dog registry. Good Luck!

The staffi is like a miniature pit bull. The poor little yorki. You should take her to the vet and have a c section performed because not only can it kill her but it can kill the pups.

a Staffordshire bull terrier *IS* a pit bull. NOT a bull terrier like Spud McKenzie.

regardless, i can guarantee you that the puppies will be FAR too large for the mom to give birth to. get the mom to a vet and have her spayed immediately or she *WILL* die during labor.

breeding a pit bull to a yorki is like breeding a tiger to a housecat. thats just NOT gonna work.
