I have a siberian Husky. I have already taught her to sit. But am having trouble teaching her to lay down. When i try to get her to lay down with the treat technique she gets up when i have bring down the treat. instead of the laying down thing. PLEASE HELP!

Use the treat and motion the treat for her to lie on her back like bringing it low to the ground and then kind of flipping your arm over kind of…
Or you can point at her and do the movement you want her to do like imitation…
ur dog isnt going to learn right away just keep working with her and keep the training interesting. dont get mad when she doesnt do what you want just ignore the behavior and treat what you like. lure her down with the treat..try something she really likes…i like training with little bits of chicken
Get a couch cushion or a pillow and have your dog sit on that. Then tell your dog to lay down while slowly moving the treat down across her nose and to the floor. By lowering the treat past the pillow to the floor it forces the dog to lay down to get it. If she gets off the pillow reset her. Give her the treat when she lays down and lots of praise! Practice on the pillow for several days before trying a flat surface. Good luck!
dont show her the treat. Tell her to lie down by saying “down” and gently push her down if she doesnt know what your trying to get her to do. When she is lying down tell her she is a good girl. Say “up” and then give her the treat.
