Okay I want to get a shetland sheepdog but the problem is I have a cat.

My questions are would the shetland sheepdog chase my cat? and if he/she would then how would I train him/her not to ?

I mean a shetland sheepdog puppy not an adult.

when i was young i read a book about dog stories,
it was about two dogs saving their family.
i don't really remember what was their species,
but i think it was either collie or shetland sheepdog.
i searched in the internet and i found out that
the collie and shetland sheepdog look actually almost the same.
just wanna know what their difference is.

I wouldn't be getting it for another five or six years or so, but I was just wondering. I really like how they look, but what is their activity level like, and how much exercise do they need? What are the specific care requirements for Shelties? Thanks!

Usually in the morning i take it 4 15-20 walk and at night it's a 20-40 minute walk. Sometimes on 1 of these walk she goes crazy and start running. Is this too much 4 the dog?
After the 40 minute walk she usually drinks water and falls asleep. That doesn't mean it was exhausted was it?
