We have two dogs that have been together since they were puppies - A male pit bull and a female Rottweiler. They are or were best friends. They did everything together for about 5 years. Our pit bull just passed away, will the Rottweiler get depressed? WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

someone said to my mom that the rottweiler is a mix between a dobermann and another dog and that because of this the brain of the rottweiler tends to grow which causes the dog to become crazy and dangerous. this sounds like a big load of bull.

I want a dog that can exercise and run nonstop with me. I want a smart dog that can learn alot of tricks. Me and my husband just got a rottweiler. He is 6 weeks old...I was a little skeptical about getting a rottweiler because I was always taught that rotweilers are vicious dogs. Other than being really playful, mine is not that bad, and he likes to bite...but he is just a baby. Well my mom is coming to visit me in a few days, and she would absolutely go crazy if I told her that my puppy is a rotweiler, so I was wondering what other dogs kind of look like or resemble rottweilers when they are puppies, that way my mom can still come and visit and be comfortable.

If my pup is 40lbs at 4 months, how big will he be at 8 months or more? His dad is a dobermann/shepherd and his mom is a pure rottweiler. Any info would be great! thanks!
So now I contacted the breeders and they said that the mom, which is a rottweiler is weighing in at around 95lbs and the father, which is a dobermann/German Shepherd, weighs at 75lbs. So estimated weight will be around?

I got him about a week ago. And on his vet papers it says he weighs about 18 pounds. He is very skinny to me. I though most Rottweiler are suppose to be wide and not on the skinny side.Should I try and make him put some weight on or is it good he is slender. ?
