I have a 7 year old 125 lb. Rottweiler that has been diagnosed with heart worms yesterday. The vet said he was the healthiest rottweiler she had ever seen at that age.How dangerous, complicated , and effective is treating heart worms?She went over the basics but I left still uneducated about it all.
They haven't done the full chest test yet to determined what stage,but she said he was a good candidate.6 week rest is terrifying could he really die if he gets excited?this is all my fault i feel terrible.

we dropped our dog off at kennel for 2days we got her the kennel cough spray before hand. now 2 weeks later she has a bald spot about the size of a quarter any info would be great thanks

we are about to adpot to a rottweiler but the only probably is she is a tad bit awkward around dogs and we have a lab feamle as well but the rottie in the shelter likes to be top dog but are lab does to so what do u think will happen we really want to get her she only 5month and in are area rottweiler get put down easily cause of their reputattion

ok here it goes.. i want too buy my mom a rottweiler shes in a wheelchair sometimes shes alone and our town isnt very safe and i worry about her.... anyway i was thinking if i get her one will he think of her as weak and turn on her... or will he be ok with her ...he would be an indoor dog only go out to go potty and for walks and excersize... what do you think im tryen too learn more about the breed before i get her one... thanks too all answers.....

My Adult Rottweiler and 5-month old Jack Russell Terrier play so hard. The Rott puts is entire mouth over the puppies neck. I worry one day the Rott will snap the JRT's neck. All of the play is good-natured and they don't bite hard.

What type of collar is best to prevent a rottweiler from breaking of his collar
he's broken a few and nothing holds up when he is pulling they just break apart to easy

for a bit.He sees a cat or something
and then the collar breaks.
No there is no fence yet

He's only outside a lone
just to go potty.

I think that dogs are stronger and they can kill both cats and rabbits just because they are bigger..Its like you put up a fight with someone waaaaayyy larger than you.
