I just got a poodle mix from a shelter and she was really matty and had a ton of knots, we took her to the groomer a few days ago and her white/carmel hair is all gone. She looks like a dead naked chicken. Do you think it will be half grown in a month ?

no probably 6 months i brought my shih tuz in last january to get a hair cut because he was matted it took a good 6 months for it to come back normal looking. but on up side she has a new loving home and she probably feels allot better
It will probably take a couple months for this dogs hair to grow back to a nice length. I only say a couple months because both Poodles and Maltese fur grow fast. Just make sure to brush her on a daily basis when her fur starts to grow back so she doesn’t have to get shaved down to nothing again.
It will take a few months but a it depends on the hair the dog will end up having.If it’s the poodle type then you’ll want the dog trimmed every few months.If maltese they usually grow the hair long as long as you are willing to brush and maintain this everyday..
