Specifically I am asking which blades should I use? 15 for the feet, sanitary and face? A 10 or 4F for the face? I am grooming a small poodle. This is a house pet not a show dog but I am doing the cut for someone else's dog so I want to do it right. Thank you

We have this Cockapoo, cockerspaniel and a poodle mix. He is 2 years old. He loves to run around and play but not with toys or anything else. i have a rope tennisballs bones and tons of toys for him but he just wont seem to play with anything. i throw something out, you know, to play fetch, and he just ignores it. Please help me. I really want my dog to play with his toys. He will only chew on flavored bones but nothing else. thankyou!

My wife keeps telling me that the toy poodle is more susceptible to die from a sudden scare than any other dog. I can't find any information on this. What do you guys say? Is it more likely for a toy poodle to die from a sudden scare?

Our standard poodle has messy eyes. Actually, one is more messy than the other. It's not infected. The vet said her tear ducts are fine. She just gets a lot of gunk that dries in the fur around her eye. Two questions: How should we clean this? We've been washing her face with a wet cloth but that doesn't seem to help. Second, any thoughts on why her eye produces so much gunk and how we can keep it from doing that? Thanks!

I have a mini/toy (3/4 toy, 1/4 mini) poodle and i want to be able to groom her with more than scissors and not taking her to the groomers. My little male poodle (Kirby) is about 3.8 pounds he is 2 years old and I'm tired of paying for grooming. I have the equipment needed. But not the schooling for grooming. Is there an online school or just plain good pictures and good advice?

My sister wants to breed her pedigree poodle with another poodle, then give the pups to kids with asthma, as poodles are allergy-free.

I had terrible asthma as a kid and was desperate for a dog. Eventually my mum found out about poodles and I had one for 17 years. It brought a great quality to my life and that is why my sister is inspired to do this.

All this stuff you lot spout about there being too many dogs out there may be true, but there are NOT ENOUGH dogs for asthmatics - especially ones given out free from the goodness of someone's hearts.

Hi,
I have a toy poodle and I bought her at three months. She is lively, fun, relaxed, playful and cuddly with me and my fiance. When she goes to the park with us and for walks she gets very scared of people and tries to run away, practicaly choking herself because she pulls so hard!

Today she pooped herself because two little children were running at her and wanted to pet the 'little puppy'.

She was even scared of my Grandma when she met her and hid under a pillow until she left! Does anybody else have a dog that is like that? I think the smaller breeds can be a little picky. Is this normal and if not, why is she scared of people? I am planning on taking her to obediance school so she can interact with other dogs but Im scared of what she'll do.
