Where Can I Find a Female Pomeranian That Can Mate With My Male Dog?

by Dogs.net on December 17, 2011

I have a 1 year old male pomeranian. I am seeking to find him another dog that he can breed with over the summer. I have tried asking around and looking online, but I have not found anything. If you can please help me find someone in the Chicago Land area, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

I think someone needs to do some research

Dogs shouldn’t be bred until they are 2 years old

All genetic health testings must be done at age 2 and the dog needs to have been proven to be of breeding quality by acquiring his Ch title.

Once he has done the above, owners will be looking for you to breed with their females..other than the above have him neutered.

The best place to find a suitable b*tch for your stud is at a dog show. Trust me, once he has all his proper health clearances at age 2 and has gotten his CH, people will seek you out if your dog is truly breedworthy.

He will not breed this summer as he is too young.
Poms are prone to Luxating Patella and need to have the proper health clearance through OFA. Info here

Well, it’ll be at least another year before you can use your dog for breeding, as you cannot have your dog OFA certified until he’s 2 years old. Once your dog has earned his breed championship, you’ll have people knocking at your door to breed.

Your dog is to young to mate. they should be at least 2 years of age, and have had all health checks and certificates. Should also have received Championships in conformation and agility. Then and only then could you go to some dog shows and advertise your stud.
Until then just go have him neutered.

Yes, it also happened to me a few years ago… I ever asked the same question on many dogs forums but nothing could help me, until someone give me this ebook which is here: http://tinyurl.com/masteringdogs

The ebook is amazing, in a few days, you could train your dogs like a dog master… Proved by me.. Just give it a try ;)

Is he a champion, tested and free from genetic problems? There are lots of breeders with champion males so no reptuable breeder would be interested.
