Ok so you know how some dogs are snow dogs, some are hunting dogs, some are farm dogs. So what are labradors? I just got one that is mixed with rottweiler like 3 weeks ago and im just curious.

My lab is really super hyper. And i have no idea what his reaction to the bunny will be. I put the dog behind a glass door and the bunny on the other side. The lab was ok with it. But whined to get into here the bunny was.

Thanks for the suggestions! I know my lab doesn't mean any harm, but as soon as I try to introduce and pull the puppy away to protect, he goes wild! I love the idea of having them meet outside the home.....

I have a 5 year old Female Yellow Lab and I love her to death she is a great dog ! she is very healthy , gets regular exercise and I feed her all natural Holistic food that has no kinds of preservatives at all , I know Death is just part of life but I will truly be saddened when that time comes , so if she stays perfectly healthy how many more Happy Years will I have to enjoy her companionship?

he is 9 months old and 57 pounds. I (attempt) to run him 3 miles a day, sometimes he wants to stop early sometimes he runs most of the way. Also my dad walks him a mile before he goes to work everyday.
he is a healthy puppy but sometimes wants to stop and sit for a bit in the middle of a run.

I have a year old male black lab. I have been giving him raw hide bones to chew. However, I would like to give him something else because he makes short work of them and they tend to upset his stomach. I would like to give him something he can't destroy and swallow. I have heard that Labs are a little more dominant than Goldens. Also Labs "blow" their coats so in total which breed which shed more? I won't be home for around 6 hours a day so is a Lab or Golden more suitable for me if I'm gone for this long?
