I saw this dog the other day and it looked like a mini golden. It didn't look like a puppy. It looked like a full grown golden retriever but downsized to the size of a big yorkie. Please answer! Pictures too!

It might have been a rare breed. However, I can’t think of any breed that fits your description.
There’s a high chance it was a mix. Check around shelters.
I can’t think of any pure breed that looks like that. Browe the american kennel club page and see if you can find it.

perhaps you saw a golden doodle…which is a mix of golden retriever and poodle…they are very small and ultra cute!:

Did the dog have any white on it like a blaze on it’s nose or a star on it’s chest?

A shelter dog or puppy that is half Golden Retriever. Since Goldens are quite a common breed, there are many of them in shelters that look and act like them, but are smaller like whatever breed that they are mixed with.

Adoption fees are not expensive
Also keep in mind that there are services set up for transporting dogs and puppies that are up for adoption to people that are in different states for a reasonable fee.
