My Four Year Old Golden Retriever Has Very Bad Gas and Is Sometimes Skipping Meals. Any Ideas?

by Dogs.net on December 7, 2011

Hello!
We rescued a wonderfully perfect golden from a retriever rescue about a year ago. Meeka has been absolutely fantastic. Lately, she has been having horrendous gas quite often and the last week or two she's refusing to eat her dinner or breakfast. Has anyone experienced this? I will be taking her to the vet, but I was curious to know if anyone had any ideas about what might be going on. Thanks!

I think you should just take her to the vet.

As for jer not eating i recomend taking her to the vet. After taking her to the vet if the dont tell uou much about the gas I use ginger tabs for my dog. Its a homeopathis method. I get them from my local health food store and they work better than what the vrt gave my dog. Ginger settles upset and gassy stomachs.
