Anybody Know a Good Place to Buy a Golden Retriever Puppy?

I am trying to buy a golden retriever puppy (lighter coat prefered) but I am worried that there are places online that are fake or scam or maybe the dogs are not in good condition (where puppies *look* ok). Anybody know a good place to buy a puppy online? (I would buy it where I live in Arizona but can't find any). Please help me! I want to buy a good healthy cute puppy!

I would say go to the local animal humane society. The only problem with that is some of the animals don’t behave because they were mistreated. And some have diseases. I would say really go to an upscale humane society and get the dog it’s shots and everything. I think it is better to buy a dog from a place that will charge less,than a breeder. Plus you are saving the puppies life.

also please consider adoption http://www.petfinder.com is great,so many dogs in AZ are euthanized daily.

lizard S October 28, 2007 at 8:11 am: petfinder.com there are hundreds of Goldens that need good homes. DO NOT BY LIVING BEINGS ONLINE!!! you need to go and check out the breeding facility so you know if it is a puppy mill or a good quality breeder. Please do your research before you get a dog!!!!
