My 2 1/2 yr old beagle, Sophie, is probably one of the only beagles with this problem! I recently had a baby and had to leave her outside for longer than she was used to (she's a house dog) and I think she must have gotten depressed and lost weight. She's now in the house and eating as usual but it doesn't seem to coming back on. I feed her dry dog food and always have her bowl full. Thanks for your help!

My uncle had his 6yr old Yorkshire Terrier (female) neutered last week following advice from the vet.
However, since having it done, she will not go near my uncle, she used to adore him.
If anyone else enters the house, she runs to them snuggles up against them, but tries to avoid my uncle at all costs.

She does not appear to be scared of him, it seems more like she has fallen out with him.

Is this normal behaviour after neutering? Could it be because she has had it done so late in life?

Advice would be appreciated

We adopted a rescued golden retriever, and there are some days where he will just pace all morning and will never settle down. I had heard using chamomile, but I am not sure if that is safe, and if so can anyone recommend how to prepare a chamomile treat that would be great. I know that zen treats have one with chamomile in it (I think its called peace), but I was not sure if these are good treats. Also, if anyone has any other recommendations for relieving nerves of a golden retriever that would be great. Thanks
