It has to be a puppy, and we don't want the red ones. It can't be any more than 20 weeks old! We are gunna have to see the photo of the dog to, so if that can be included than that will be great!
MUST BE PURE BREAD!
We looked at millions of websites but nothing was really there, and yes we looked on PetFinder!
Thanks so much!

Try to find a reputable breeder that breeds Doberman Pinschers. Don’t buy a dog on the internet (unless it’s just a search for dogs, like petfinder) that is just a way for people to scam you.
Dobermans unfortunately are plagued with many genetic health issues such as:
von Willebrand’s Disease
Cervical vertebral instability
Color mutant alopecia
Craniomandibular osteopathy
Polystatic fibrous dysplasia
And most prelevant, DCM.
It is very important to research a breeder and find one that has done as much selective breeding and testing as possible to help ensure a healthy dog. Look on the DPCA website http://www.dpca.org/ and search under their recommended breeders.
All puppies are of course cute and wonderful but I would hate to see you lose a pet too early and unfortunately that is very common in this breed. You may pay a little more than you wanted to by going through a reputable breeder, but if you have a dog come down with one of these illnesses, it is a very, very expensive dog to care for.
Good luck!
Pure bread? White, wheat, or rye?
There are several Doberman rescues in Ohio. A friend of mine recently got a purebred doberman puppy from the SPCA that was dumped by it’s irresponsible owners. Check your local shelters often, save a life. Look on their kennel club’s website for breeders in your area.
My goodness, you are NEW to dogs!!! The correct word to use is purebred, not “pure bread” which would be something made out of bread (a sandwich?). Go to the Doberman Pinscher Club of America website and find a breeder near you. Just do a search on “Doberman Pinscher Club of America.”

Was the doberman pinscher club site (with its numerous breeder listings) one of the “millions” you looked at?
You’re gonna need to “see a photo” of the dog? You should visit the puppy’s home in person, meet its parents (at least the mother) and develop a good relationship with the breeder. The puppy is not a sweater at Abercrombie & Fitch. You don’t see it online and have it FedEx’d. If you’re going to get a puppy from a breeder, do it the right way. DPs have a variety of health issues that could turn up if you take the cheap/lazy alternative of buying from a BYB off Craislist.
Hi! Try to check the list of shelters on this site.
