i dont know much about dogs but what i do know is that i love dobermans. i would love to get one. but at the moment money is tight and cant have it around as i am still at college and mums works all through the day. so dog would be left on its own.

There is no difference.. its the same breed. Many people just call them Dobermans or Dobes for short.

They’re the same. Dobermann is just short for Dobermann Pinscher.

Also, there is no “Miniature Dobermann”, for those that think there are. They are called Minature Pinschers.

I own 4 Dobermans ,
Doberman is just short for Doberman Pinscher

It is also spelt Dobermann in several countrys.

In the UK, the correct name is Dobermann

There is no difference.

Doberman Pinscher is the full name of the breed {pinscher means terrier in German}

In England is commonly known as the Dobermann {2ns}

Now there is a huge difference between a Doberman bred by a kennel that breeds its dog to work/titles working Doberman & the average pet/show Doberman. Too few are have the temperament & drives to be trained as family property protection dogs.

Pinscher is a word in german. The large one is a DOBERMAN PINSCHER from Louis Dobermann, it is a completely different dog than a Miniature Pinscher….

A Doberman is meant for an experienced dog handler ONLY. Not due to aggressivement but they are VERY SMART and can easily outsmart a new owner, you need to be above them, they look for loving discipline & exercise for their minds and bodies.
