i have a 1 yr old female chi, she still has her soft spot on her head is this normal and will she be ok with it in her lifetime?

well im getting a chihuahua and the lady said it would weight about 3lbs full grown. i know it is pushing the unhealthy limmit and i dont want it to be fat so how can i make sure she is a healthy 3lb chi? i dont mind her being so light. i want a healthy not heavy chihuahua. so is that possible? no I HATE CHIHUAHUAS GET A DIFFERENT DOG answers please. its what i want and you cant change that.

I repeat the dog is going to be 3 lbs FULL GROWN

i dont mind her being 3lbs and i know all the facts on chihuahuas i was just wondering waht should i do to keep her healthy? im not feeding her 3 times a day im just lettting her free feed for whenever she is hungry and give her a bit of wet food for dinner. thanks

she said the size will be 3lbs full grown because that is what she has produced in the past. she is giving me a deal. she is registering it for me for free because its so small and she usually doesn't breed that dog. thanks

I've always loved chihuahua's since i wos about six, but im not sure if i should get one. I'm sixteen and ive had pets before. How much care do they need and how often do they need walking. And are dogs allowed to be left at home for a few hours.

how long does a Teacup, Chihuahua live...
and how can you give them a healthy life?
should they be an only pet?
i will try not to step on it.....

thanks for all the help. my dog has plenty of toys to play with and he also has another chihuahua to play with. She is a little older and doesn't tear up things like he does., let me ask this. how old does a puppy have to be before you clip their nails?

I just got a female chihuahua and i need to know how to handle her. Do they get their "periods" too? If so, then do i need to put a doggie diaper on her? Please give me all the information about females as you possibly can. Thank you so much!

I have 2 chihuahua puppies, a boy and a girl we got in october, and somethings wrong with the boy. We've brought him to the vet, and he just told us to give him Benydryl. It doesn't seem to work besides knocking the poor guy out. He makes this.. strange.. choking noise? And he breathes in really hard and makes a strange noise. I feel so bad, he gets so scared when it happens. Any ideas?

I just took my 4 month old Chihuahua to the vet for his rabies shots and basic checkup. The vet said he might be sore a day or two, but he does not appear as playful to others as he does to me or my wife. Today he bit my mother (which he never has done) and my daughter. However, he has not bitten me or my wife whom he seems to want to be near. How long will it take for this irritability to end?

My three year old chihuahua will not breed with our male. I am unsure of what to do to assist or do I need a different male. My male is proven and has had three litters with our other female.

My dog was at my moms house and my mom will feed her dogs table scraps. My chihuahua never eats human food so I figured the grease from the food is what has upset her stomach. I've given her about 1/2 teaspoon of Pepto Bismal and childrens pedialyte and I took her water away Shes been running around and playing all day but she still has watery poop.
