What Would Be a Fair Price for a 1 Year Old Neutered Registered Boston Terrier?

by Dogs.net on December 14, 2011

We have a 1 year old registered male Boston Terrier that we would like to sell. He's been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. He's red / white. He's healthy and a good little dog. He doesn't bark and is very easy going. What would be a fair asking price for him?

Yes $50 for a mismarked dog is fair. You should inclue a copy of his vaccine records for the new owner. If he is registered you can toss that in too for free since now that he is neutered it is actually worthless. But them being red and white should have removed him from the gene pool anyway. $50 is fair for a pet.

Cost of neutering and the last set of shots would be fair.

Your dog isn’t an ATM machine. Check the breeder’s contract, they may require you to return the dog to them. Find a breed specific rescue, and leave them a nice donation for taking in the dog.

I’d charge whatever your local shelter is charging for re-homing adult dogs.
