My husband and I are getting a new male Boston Terrier puppy. We have a 6 yr old female named Shelby. Any ideas?

I ask myself why does it take this long. Does anyone know? Do they put the dogs in crates and just let them sit there while they do other dogs? My boston terrier is 17.6 lbs and has short fur.

Also, when do Boston Terriers slow down? Right now she's playful and fun, but when will she slow down and become quiet? Basically, when does she reach her senior age?

I have a six week old boston terrier named "Sunday", and I hate the name. I wanted to change it to something between one and two syllables that's not too outlandish or hard to say. She doesn't have the perfect markings most bostons do; one eye has the black patch and the other half is completely white. She's a rather chill dog, lazy even. Any ideas?

My little 9 week old boston terrier puppy is obsessed with biting. How can i teach her not to bite people. She also likes to chew on the baseboards of my floor. Is there a spray i can buy to deter her from this? Ive been using tabasco sauce and it seems to work a little.

My Boston Terrier is just over a year old. He recently has been really scratching his ear. I looked in it and just his one ear has really bad dry skin, to the point now that the skin is so dry that its cracking and bleeding a bit. I have a vet appointment on Monday (tried to get one asap) and I have been putting the all natural lotion Aveeno on it to help soothe his ear. The lotion is driving him nutts until it dries. Any one have any idea what it could be? I thought maybe it could some type of ear infection.
How do i know if its mites? I thought I would be able to see them. He has Frontline.

We are considering getting a boston terrier, but my mom is hesitant about having an inside dog. Are they hard to potty train? And are they pretty clean dogs? If you could just give me some info about them indoors, that'd be great.
Also, my mom doesn't think a crate would be humane to leave him in while we're gone. Does your dog enjoy his crate, or not?

My moms Boston terrier is obsessed with me. He gets really depressed when I am not around and always has to be near me. Soon I will move out and go to college. Is there anyway I can stop this? Is this normal behavior from this breed?
