I have a 1 year old Beagle/Lab mix and she hates walking on a leash. I want to take he camping with my boyfriend and I but I dont know if I should.She does fine without a leash but there is always that one chance that she wont listen to me. What should I do?

My 2 1/2 yr old beagle, Sophie, is probably one of the only beagles with this problem! I recently had a baby and had to leave her outside for longer than she was used to (she's a house dog) and I think she must have gotten depressed and lost weight. She's now in the house and eating as usual but it doesn't seem to coming back on. I feed her dry dog food and always have her bowl full. Thanks for your help!

My dog ate roughly about 15 bagels and thats one full beagle. Let her sleep it off or take her for a walk and make her puke?

What are the cheapest veterinarians near Hillside, Illinois for neutering a 4 yr old beagle?
A veterinarian that charges less than 0 dollars is fine and near.I have only found the stone park that charges for about 69 for basic and 169 for all.

I want to get a Beagle but i already have other pets. I have 1 rabbbit and a few birds, all of which live outside. Do you think i would be able to keep a beagle with the pets? If not do u have any pther suggestions on breeds?

My beagle is 6 months old and everytime we live the house he cries and howls for like an hour or two and we are afraid that a neighbor could call the police or something.

I have a six mounth old Basset and a year old Beagle and both of them go nuts when someone in the house pells an orange.The smell drives them in to a frenzy of barking and sniffing, you caint hide it from them they track it down. Why do they do this are oranges good to feed to them?

I have a beagle husky mix. I'm trying to teach him how to stop jumping on people and trying to jump on counters...any suggestions to help train him? My boyfriend wants me to get rid of him because of his bad habbits. I need help.

He already knows how to sit and give you his paw..he doesnt always listen, though..you know how beagles are. Once they smell something your not getting thier attention. I also have a clicker and plenty of treats.

I walk him regularly each day but I want to take him on hikes with me. Is a 2-3 hour hike too much for him if I bring water and we rest every so often? The hikes range from 4-6 miles and I go 2-3 times a week. I don't want to damage his skeletal system. My 2 year old beagle does great and I'd like to know if its safe to bring the 8 month beagle along for the hike... Thank you!

My mom has a beagle that is 14 who isn't eating like normal. My mom can not afford to bring her to a vet is there anywhere i can turn to help her out? The dog isn't eating much if anything at all and it has been about 3 days or so. I mainly trying to get her to eat as a start to the solution. Any ideas?

I know there is a Beagle. And I know there is a separate breed called a Bluetick Coonhound. However, I have had some people tell me that there is now a breed, recognized by the AKC I assume, called Bluetick Beagle. My cousin's dog may be just that type of dog. How could we find out?

My mini beagle is over weight, the vet told us he needs to loose weight but he loves people food, I tell my family not to feed him that, but they do it any way! He is around 32 pounds. Any suggestions?

It usually happens in the middle of the night when she's sleeping and comes out of nowhere. The reverse sneezing attack usually lasts around 45 - 60 seconds. How can I help her thru the reverse sneezing attack or help stop the attack? My dog is a 4 and a half month old beagle puppy. Thanks.
