Is It Normal for a Puppies Adult Canine Teeth to Come in Loose?

by Dogs.net on June 2, 2011

I have a 5 month old lab/shepherd. Most of her adult are in. Her top 2 canine fangs are still puppy teeth that are not yet loose. Her bottom 2 canine fangs fell out Monday & the tips of the new teeth have erupted but are loose?

Adult teeth should be firmly set, not loose. You may want to talk to your vet to see why they are wiggling around as there may be a problem at the root or bone.
